What is the Markeplace?

A collectible marketplace built-in to the VeVe app where users can buy and sell collectibles from each other for gems as well as host auctions.

I missed the drop, but I was able to snag two copies on the MP for a decent price.

Full Definition:

The marketplace is a feature built-in to the VeVe app where users can buy and sell their VeVe collectibles and comics, also known as the “market” or the “secondary market“.

The marketplace is split between comics and collectibles, and there are various filters as well as a search function which users can use to find the items they are looking for.

Items can be listed in the market place for either a fixed price, or an eBay-style auction, where users bid on an item and the highest bidder after 24 hours wins the collectible.

There is a 2.5% transaction fee for items sold on the marketplace, which goes towards VeVe and its licensors, and there is an additional 6% fee charged for sales of any items from the Disney license.

The marketplace is periodically closed, roughly 30 minutes before and after whenever there is a new drop.

In the future, once VeVe NFTs become fully interoperable with IMX, the NFTs will be able to be bought and sold on 3rd party marketplaces outside of the VeVe app.
